ERM’s commercial director attends strategic meetings for the development of inland navigation in Brasília

Our commercial director, Fabio Vasconcellos, was in Brasília to attend institutional meetings with ABANI (Associação Brasileira para o Desenvolvimento da Navegação Interior), the National Secretariat for Waterways and Navigation, and the Ministry of Ports and Airports. The goal was to discuss the development of inland navigation in the country.

On June 12th, Vasconcellos participated in the seminar “Release of AFRMM reimbursement resources withheld in the National Treasury and Transfer of Future Management to the Ministry of Ports and Airports.” The event was organized by the Parliamentary Front for the Development of Inland Navigation.

Among the participants were Federal Deputy Júnior Ferrari (PSD-PA), president of the Parliamentary Front for the Development of Inland Navigation; Federal Deputy Alexandre Lindenmeyer (PT-RS), president of the Parliamentary Front for the Development of the Shipbuilding Industry; the National Secretary for Waterways, Dino Antunes; representatives from the National Waterway Transport Agency (ANTAQ), and various experts from the navigation sector.
